Terms And Conditions

GENERAL INFORMATION

These terms and conditions are relevant to every order that is placed and every agreement that is reached through lamillou.ca. 

By placing on order on lamillou.ca you agree with the terms and conditions of lamillou.ca.

Unless explicitly agreed upon by all parties involved and confirmed in writing by lamillou.ca, deviations from these terms and conditions are not applicable to any orders or agreements reached through lamillou.ca.

In the event you place an order for a product that is out of stock and you were not informed hereof in time, e.g. due to technical defaults, lamillou.ca has the right to cancel your order. If you have already paid for the product, lamillou.ca will reimburse you for the exact amount you paid

All prices shown on lamillou.ca are shown in Canadian dollars. 

Lamillou.ca has the right to cancel the promised products in the event that the prices were incorrectly shown due to technical defaults.

Shipping

*Please note all shipping fees incurred when sending the order out are non-refundable and all returns are done at the customer's expense. Refused shipments and shipments not picked up at shipping depots are considered returns and are subject to return shipping charges.

All orders require 1-5 business days (Monday - Friday, excluding holidays) of processing time to be picked, packed and prepared for shipping, unless otherwise noted on the product page of the item(s) you've ordered. If there is an issue with delivery times or availability, a La Millou Canada customer care associate will contact you via email within 72 hours to discuss the shipping and delivery options.

La Millou Canada carefully selected the fastest, most reliable shipping method for all of the products on our site. Your order may ship with UPS, FedEx, Purolator or Canada Post. Deliveries are normally made Monday to Friday, and typically our shipping partners do not deliver on the weekends and holidays.

If there are any discrepancies with shipping amounts (or over-sized items or/and orders that require shipping charges to be calculated after the order has been placed) a customer service representative will contact you via email to discuss price changes or shipping options. If no shipping amount at all shows on your oversized items or/and orders, a customer service representative will contact you via email with the appropriate shipping amount.

All claims for damages/defects must be submitted in writing to info@lamillou.ca within 72 hours of receiving the goods.

Any order discrepancies need to be reported to info@lamillou.ca within 72 hours of receiving the goods.

Please note that all deliveries are shipped using the economy shipping method and are without the "signature required" service. La Millou Canada and/or the shipping partners are not liable for any lost or stolen packages. If you need the signature service, please contact us to discuss the extra fees for such services.

Free Shipping* Inside Ontario when you spend $99 (before taxes and after discounts) or more

As a thank you for shopping with La Millou Canada we are pleased to offer Free shipping inside Ontario for online orders over $99 (before taxes and after discounts). Orders that qualify for Free Shipping will be sent via economy shipping method. A flat rate shipping fee of $10 applies to orders under $99 inside Ontario.

"Free Shipping" offer excludes but not limited to oversized items or/and orders. Free Shipping discount not applicable with the returned merchandise. This offer is not valid on previous purchases. This promotional offer may be modified or terminated at any time without notice. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized, altered, or ineligible use of a discount. Free Shipping offer only applies to online orders. La Millou Canada reserves the right to cancel and/ or not ship an order at any time.

Flat rate shipping fee of $15 applies to orders shipping to outside Ontario.

The flat rate shipping for orders shipping to outside Ontario excludes but not limited to oversized items or/and orders. The flat rate shipping not applicable with the returned merchandise. The flat rate shipping may be modified or terminated at any time without notice. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized, altered, or ineligible use of the flat rate shipping. The flat rate shipping only applies to online orders. La Millou Canada reserves the right to cancel and/ or not ship an order at any time.

Shipping charges are based on our shipping partner's locations. If your location is outside of their shipping areas there may be additional shipping charges that were not calculated with your initial order. This applies to orders that have received Free Shipping as well as those below the free shipping threshold and the flat rate shipping. We will do our best to find a shipping rate that will work within the parameters of what was estimated but some items (oversized items shipping to rural areas, shipping to northern parts of the province, etc) are unable to be calculated by the system and need to be manually calculated by a staff member. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and we will contact you as quickly as possible with shipping options.

Shipping Definitions

Economy Shipping - Economy shipping will deliver your package using standard shipping methods and are without the "signature required" service. La Millou Canada ships using multiple delivery partners. A courier will be assigned to your order at the time of shipping. Please note that when using the Economy Shipping your order will be subject to 1-5 business days of processing time in our warehouse before it ships, unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Wholesale Shipping - It is only for wholesalers/business customers. The shipping cost will be quoted later.

Payments

We accepts the following payments methods:

  • Visa Credit
  • Mastercard.

EMT - Email Transfer:
FOR B2B CUSTOMERS USE ONLY, OTHER CUSTOMERS' ORDERS WILL BE CANCELED.

Returns

At La Millou Canada we want to spread joy by ensuring all our products are of the highest standard for quality and we ensures that the products are in new condition.

As a result, all of our products must be final sale for safety, health and hygienic reasons. All of our products are not able to be returned or exchanged.

Claims

To ensure that your order is complete and without defects, you should examine your order upon delivery. 

We are sure that you will love our products as much as we do, but if for any reason there are damages/defects, please contact us within 72 hours of receiving an order.

All claims for damages/defects must be submitted in writing to info@lamillou.ca within 72 hours of receiving the goods.

Any order discrepancies need to be reported to info@lamillou.ca within 72 hours of receiving the goods.

If you do not notify us of incomplete or damaged/defective items within 72 hours after delivery, you risk losing the right to a refund or a replacement.

The claims will be handled within 7 business days from the day we receive it. We will inform you by e-mail about the proposed solution to the problem.

If the claim is justified, and in case of a damaged/defective product or if we ship the wrong colour or size of the product you ordered, you are entitled to the delivery of a new product.

In the event that the product ordered is no longer available, you are entitled to choose a different product that has the same value as the ordered product or to cancel the order. The damaged product should be sent back to La Millou Canada. Once we have received the damaged product, we will send you a new product or reimburse you for the sums already paid if the product you ordered is no longer available and you do not wish to choose a different product. 

Provided that you are able to send the items back to us and pay for the return shipment on lamillou.ca, we will refund the shipping costs that you paid when returning the damaged/defective product in the form of a refund. A refund to your account will be issued within 30 days after the date on which we received the product.

In the event the product you return to us does not show any defaults or coincides with the size or colour you ordered, you will be entitled to receive, at your own expense, the product you sent back to us. If you do not wish to receive the product you sent back to us, La Millou Canada is entitled to keep the product and withhold the sums already received. In this event La Millou Canada will not reimburse you for the shipping costs of the return shipment.  

La Millou Canada will not compensate any damage occurring to products due to normal wear and tear and incorrect or inappropriate handling including but not limited to cleaning, care, maintenance and storage that does not follow the instructions.

Cancellations

Order cancellation is a time-sensitive action and is not always possible once an order has been placed. Please reach out to us as soon as possible. 

Please double check all order details thoroughly prior to placing your order as we are unable to add additional products or edit details of your order after it has been placed. If you've made an error in your order please contact our Customer Care team immediately for best assistance.

We care about your order as much as you do. Nothing leaves our company unproctected. You always get it in a branded bag or box. Easier to transport, much nicer to present as a gift.

We want you to know how much heart we put into our products. That's why everything your get from us comes with cute little heart tag. A smile and piece of our heart are the two things we always include in our gifts!

TAG
Our products come with an original, branded tag...which comes as no surprise, every product has one. But our tag stands for something more. it's a seal of guarantee that says: the product is ready for use, tested and build to last.
